Caballo ib\u00e9rico color (Color iberian horse) is a double-sided sculpture decorated with geometric shapes, organic lines and bright colors in a wide range of colors. It is presented on a black lacquered wooden base.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each piece includes the handwritten signature of its author, it is a unique work, 100% handmade in Malaga, Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alfajar aims to express the inner relationship of each person with the world, and therefore, with the nature around them. In this case through pieces of an expressive and vibrant color that recall the “joie de vivre” (joy of living) that the Fauves already showed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Multiple symbolic meanings converge, sometimes opposed or contradictory, in the horse. In the memory of many cultures is a common belief to associate the horse with the darkness from which it arises, galloping like blood in the veins from the bowels of the earth or the abysses of the sea. It is at the same time, bearer of death and life, linked to the destructive and regenerating fire.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iberian term applied in classical Greece to refer to our peninsula adds connotations of assimilation of the characteristics of the multiple civilizations that have invaded and occupied it. In our case it refers to the formal styling inspired by the representations of Iberian Art.<\/span><\/p>\n
